Students at Bayfield Elementary and Bayfield Primary schools participated in Pine River Shares' 4th annual Food, Friends and Funds Drive in a BIG way! They filled box after box of non-perishable food for the Bayfield Kids 4 Kids (BK4K) Backpack Program and other food programs the local non-profit runs to help keep our community healthy.
Pine River Shares says Bayfield kids are a strong community that knows how to take care of each other, and the results of the food drive are proof!
These fifth-grade members of the BES Student Council helped unload food to be stored in the old one-room school house on East Street. The little building is bursting at the seams with food that should hold Pine River Shares until well after the holidays.
