Seventh-grade life sciences students from Mountain Middle School on Friday raft down the Animas River with the help of Mild to Wild Rafting. Life sciences teacher Dave Farkas said the class collected water samples, which will be tested for oxygen levels and hard metals as well as be used for various other projects.
