Seattle Sound

Seattle Seahawks’ owner Paul Allen brought the Lombardi Trophy home to Seattle for the first time in Seahawks history, and his players surrounded him as he lifted the Super Bowl trophy and lifted the team’s fans – hundreds of thousands of notoriously loud Seahawks fans – at their downtown parade Wednesday. “I’ve waited my entire life for this,” said fan Nick Sutton, who threw a football to one of the players along the parade route; the player then threw it back to him. “It’s surreal. It’s hard to believe. Seeing this now, it’s finally sinking in.”
