The city of Durango is in the process of drafting the development plan for Durango Mesa, formerly known as Ewing Mesa, and a second community meeting is will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday at City Hall, 949 East Second Ave.
Input from residents is needed to identify and plan the recreation, cultural amenities, open space and public purposes for the development – consistent with goals of the city’s 2017 Comprehensive Plan and Parks, Opens Space, Trails and Recreation Master Plan.
Funding for the development is provided by a $100,000 grant from the LOR Foundation.
Residents are encouraged share input about spring and summer plans.
For more information, call Cathy Metz, Parks and Recreation director, at 375-7329, or Kevin Hall, assistant city manager, at 375-7315.
