Let’s Talk Little will be a Zoom-only seminar that will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday (March 11). The seminar is about is about Olga Schaaf Little, who was a renowned jack packer.
For 30 years, Little led her burro team with much-needed supplies into the La Plata Mountain mines and brought out silver and gold ore. Gay Kiene from the Animas Museum will share Little’s story. There is no charge for the webinar. Register at animasmuseum.org.
Kiene will reprise this talk at 5:30 p.m. March 29 at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave. No reservations are necessary and there is no charge.
