Ignacio’s senior setter picks up a pair of postseason honors
Cloe Seibel will set one more game while representing Ignacio High School. The Bobcats’ senior setter will play in the Colorado Coaches of Girls Sports All-State volleyball game Sunday at Arvada West High School.
The 2013 volleyball season isn’t over for Ignacio High School senior setter Cloe Seibel.
She qualified for the Colorado Coaches of Girls Sports All-State volleyball games by virtue of being named to the CCGS All-State team at her position.
The Class 2A game will take place at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Arvada West High School.
Seibel also was named All-San Juan Basin League first team after averaging 5.5 assists per game this season.
Ignacio’s Angela Herrera, a senior, was an all-conference honorable mention. Herrera led the Bobcats with 405 attempts while averaging 1.7 kills per set.
Ignacio finished its 2013 season 7-15 overall.
