A semi-tractor trailer was reported stuck and blocking traffic on the 29000 block of U.S. Highway 160 east, about five miles east of Durango, at 12:44 p.m. on Saturday, said a Colorado State Patrol spokesman in Montrose.
Two patrolmen responded to the scene where the eastbound lane was closed limiting travel to one lane, with alternating traffic allowed to pass in both directions.
No injuries were reported, and it was undetermined what caused the incident. The State Patrol spokesman said the truck’s cargo would probably need to be unloaded in order to free the vehicle.
