‘Send message – no more lying’

Please vote. If you have not voted in a while, now is a good and important time to jump back in. Voting by mail is easy, safe and secure; voting at your local poll place on Nov. 8 is also easy, fun and trustworthy.

We are voting on a stark contrast between Republican and Democratic values in this election.

Some of the issues:

Republicans are in a frenzy to out do each other in lying: election deniers, Jan. 6 violence in D.C., fomenting political violence, false border fears, really wild conspiracy fantasies, disproven trickle-down economic policies. . .

They want to end women’s rights, eliminate Medicare and Social Security, end election integrity and, thereby, democracy, stop international cooperation and install corrupt leaders of Christian nationalist authoritarianism.

On the other hand, Democrats want to build a positive future: Invest in infrastructure; support the dwindling middle class; bring manufacturing back to the U.S.; work in cooperation with world leaders; expand access to voting appropriately; hold insurrectionists accountable for their violence; uphold the rule of law; reduce climate change; go after tax cheats; support real science in public health; support a women’s right to choose – codify Roe; seek to expand Medicare, saving us millions of dollars; go after wild billing increases by the privatized medical-insurance-industrial complex; and hold lying corrupt officials accountable.

Vote Frisch. Vote Bennet. Vote Polis. Vote Griswold. Vote McLachlan.

Support Democrats to send a message to the GOP – no more lying.
