Durango/La Plata County Senior Center Steppers will host a “Fun-Raiser” dance and mixer from 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 14 at the Senior Center, 2424 Main Ave.
Tickets are $10 per person with all proceeds going to the fight to end Alzheimer’s disease.
Senior Center staff members will lead line dances and lessons in foxtrot, cha cha and other styles. Attendees should bring a dish to share as well as a personal water bottle.
