Seniors Outdoors! will host the following events:
Snowshoeing: 9 a.m. Saturday. Meet at the Durango Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave. An avalanche beacon and shovel are highly recommended on all snowshoes. Turn-backs with a partner may be permitted. Carpool costs $3 to $8, depending on destination. Dogs OK. Leaders are Clark Lagow and others to be determined.
Downhill skiing: 10 a.m. Monday. Meet at Purgatory Resort.
Wednesday Wanderers hike: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Join Eric Pahlkee to walk the River Trail from Santa Rita Park. For more information, contact Pahlkee at 247-1130 or email pahlkee@aol.com.
