Ronald K. Butler, 57, who was convicted of a first-degree sex assault in cases dating to 2005, will be released from prison in the last week of July.
According to a news release from the Colorado Department of Corrections, Butler had listed his address in the 3100 block of Main Avenue.
He has completed his prison time for the conviction.
Colorado law requires notification of the public when registered sex offenders are released from prison.
The law also provides for criminal charges against those who use the information of a sex offenders’ release to harass, threaten or intimidate the person who has been released.
