NASHVILLE, N.C. – A sheriff says two men have been shot outside a North Carolina courthouse and have non-life-threatening wounds.
Nash County Sheriff Dick Jenkins says they were shot Tuesday morning outside the courthouse in Nashville.
He says one ran inside the building and collapsed with wounds to a hand and a leg. The other victim ran down the street and was found in a lot with a back wound.
Jenkins says both men were taken to hospitals. He didn’t know their ages or offer further descriptions.
A manhunt is underway for two men who Jenkins says fled in a white car. The sheriff says he doesn’t know if both fired shots. Officers found four or five bullet casings at the scene.
