Silverton should invite U.S. rowing team

The town of Silverton should invite the U.S. Rowing Team to work out in the stretch of the Animas River just south of town, providing our athletes with nearly identical conditions as they are enduring on the Rodrigo de Freitas Lake in Brazil – with one major distinction: In Silverton, they would be practicing at an elevation of 9,300 feet, giving them a distinct advantage for when the Olympic Games are held next year at near sea level.
