Aurora craft beers will be available in 7 S.W. Colorado counties
Ska Brewing Co. will begin distributing beers from Aurora’s Dry Dock Brewing Co. throughout Southwest Colorado.

More beer is coming to Durango.

Last week, Dry Dock Brewing Co., Aurora’s first brewery, announced it is partnering with Durango’s Ska Brewing Co. to expand distribution to seven counties in Southwest Colorado.

“We have been friends with the folks at Dry Dock for a long time,” Dave Thibodeau, co-founder and president of Ska Brewing, said in a prepared statement. “They make some killer beers. We are excited to add them to our distribution portfolio and share their award-winning beers with Southwest Colorado.”

Counties now receiving Dry Dock products include Archuleta, Dolores, Hinsdale, La Plata, Montezuma, San Miguel and San Juan, a spokeswoman said.

“We’re proud to partner with such a craft-savvy distributor,” Dry Dock Brewing Co.’s Director of Sales and Marketing George Allen said in a news release. “We’re excited to offer our Colorado-only brand to even more Coloradoans.”

Dry Dock sells Apricot Blonde, Hop Abomination IPA, Wheat Beer, Vanilla Porter, Amber Ale and Sour Apricot beer. The brewery also features seasonal and specialty beers.
