The SkillsUSA Colorado Region 8 Championships will be held from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
The opening ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. at the Durango High School auditorium, with the contests beginning at 10 a.m. at the fairgrounds.
The closing ceremony and awards presentation will be held from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. at the DHS auditorium.
