FLC volleyball finishes Oredigger Classic 0-4 in Golden
Fort Lewis College volleyball’s rough stretch to start the 2013 season continued Saturday with two more losses at the Oredigger Volleyball Classic in Golden.
The Skyhawks dropped their first match 3-1 to Grand Valley State, winning the first game 25-17 before dropping the last three 25-20, 25-14 and 25-23.
Ashley Wells had 11 kills and Hannah Starbuck had eight for FLC.
The Skyhawks only hit .070 in the match and committed 31 attack errors.
FLC lost its second match of the day 3-0 to Texas Woman’s University – 25-21, 25-23, 25-18.
FLC (0-8) will start Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play Saturday at CSU-Pueblo.
