Skyhawks 2-for-2 in RMAC honors

Carpenter matches Kvidera as a lacrosse player of the week

Ellie Carpenter helped the Fort Lewis College women’s lacrosse team sweep the first two Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week awards.

She scored four goals and added two assists in the Skyhawks’ 19-9 win over Adams State on March 1 and tallied another six points with three goals in a 20-10 win against Shorter University (Rome, Ga.) on Wednesday at Ray Dennison Memorial Field.

Ally Kvidera won the inaugural RMAC Offensive Player of the Week.

Christine Hehmeyer, the goalie on RMAC preseason favorite Lindenwood, has won both RMAC Defensive Player of the Week awards.

FLC (3-0) is off to its best start in program history and next will play Mercy College on March 15 in Denver.
