GLENDALE, Ariz. – Jacob Morris threw for 100 yards and two touchdowns, while Jake Jones added 57 yards and one touchdown as Fort Lewis (1-1) rallied from an opening-week loss to dominate in all phases en route to a commanding 58-10 rout of Arizona Christian (0-1) under the lights at ACU Football Field.

The Skyhawks’ defense held Arizona Christian to 265 yards of offense, including just 74 passing yards. Jake Penney led Fort Lewis’ defense with nine total tackles.

Mj Dailey V had the team’s only sack of the night. Jordan Thomas, Juma Kashanda and Tailan King each recorded an interception. Kashanda led the trio with a 35-yard return, while King became the first Skyhawk to register a pick-six since 2017 with a 4-yard score on a goal-line stand. Penney, Thomas and Samuel Ballas each forced a fumble.

Firestorm quarterback Josh Bell went 8 of 14 for 58 yards and two interceptions. Omari Milton threw for another 16 yards and one interception on 1-of-4 passing.
