Every once in a blue moon, I read an article in The Durango Herald that indicates intelligence by the writer. On July 7, I read such a letter by Kevin Swinderman titled, “Stop glorifying war and nation-states,” and it warmed the cockles of my heart! Seldom does one read a letter that indicates the writer has genuine intelligence allowing the ability to clearly see the folly of our modern and uncivilized world.
I do not know Kevin Swinderman, but I salute him as an outstanding intellectual and a person capable of comprehending the Alice in Wonderland world in which we live.
