Solarize La Plata, a program to get 100 homes to install solar systems, has ended with 101 participants.

The goal when the steering committee formed in April 2013 was the installation of at least 325 kilowatts of capacity.

So far, 522 kilowatts of capacity have been installed. Seventy-four installations have been energized, 12 more are in progress and the remainder are expected to come on line in the fall.
