Durango Hot Springs Resort and Spa, the Glacier Club and the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College are bringing Nashville Songs & Stories “Writers in the Round” to the Community Concert Hall, 1000 Rim Drive, at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 30.

A teaser show with Danny Myrick and Megan Linville will be held at 6 p.m. Aug. 27 at the Durango Hot Springs. Admission is $39 for adults and $15 for children.

These listening room sessions provide an insider’s perspective to the hit songs by some of the biggest stars. Brett James, Marti Frederiksen, Myrick and Linville are four vocational songwriters who will tell stories that interweave with the songs they will play.

Proceeds from this show will benefit Friends of the Community Concert Hall and La Plata County Search and Rescue. LPCSAR is an organization of volunteers who will use the money to acquire new radios.
