Southeastern residents honored Memorial Day

Friends and family assembled at the Allison-Tiffany Cemetery on May 28 for a Memorial Day service.

Flags were placed on the graves of veterans and also placed on graves at the Tiffany Cemetery. Lynn Swanemyr and Ted Roberts raised the flag as the Durango Acapella Quartet sang "The National Anthem."

Pastor Al Tebrink led the opening prayer and gave a memorial message.

Balloons in red, white and blue were released by Vickie Sutton-Gallegos.

Vickie led the singing of "Proud to be An American" and Dusty Mars accompanied everyone on the guitar.

To end the program, the quartet sang "The Lord's Prayer" and Dusty played "Taps."
