The southernmost segment of the Animas River Trail behind Home Depot will be closed from 8 a.m. to about noon Wednesday. The closure will allow South Durango Sanitation District to perform routine maintenance on its sewer main.
Cyclists and pedestrians may bypass the trail using River Oaks Drive, Escalante Drive and River Road. Use caution when traveling near the work zone.
