Southwest Colorado Canyons Alliance is overjoyed to accept grants from both the Conservation Lands Foundation and Walmart Giving.
CLF provides financial resources to support organizations working to protect, restore and expand national conservation lands. SCCA was eligible to apply for support for our ongoing Wilderness Study Area Monitoring Program, outreach on behalf of public lands and fundraising assistance.
The Walmart Community Grants Team and Facility No. 966 in Cortez are dedicated to supporting work in our community that makes a positive local impact. The Walmart Community Grant awarded to SCCA will be used to enhance the quality of life in our community and stimulate our local economy by offering unique opportunities to local residents and tourists.
Southwest Colorado Canyons Alliance collaborates with Bureau of Land Management to engage the public through education, outreach, and stewardship for the use and enjoyment of the natural and cultural landscape of Canyons of the Ancients National Monument and nearby public lands. SCCA is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
