Megan Kinney is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and has joined the team at Southwest Women’s Health Associates. Kinney is passionate about women’s care and looks forward to partnering with her patients to provide holistic care and promote wellness.
Kinney grew up in Bayfield. After graduating as valedictorian of Bayfield High School, she attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing with summa cum laude honors.
She then returned to the Durango area and has spent the last six years working as a registered nurse at Mercy Regional Medical Center. While working as an RN, she obtained her Master of Science in nursing at Frontier Nursing University. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
When she is not working, Kinney enjoys spending time with her husband and two children camping, gardening and baking.
