Southwestern Colorado Ear, Nose and Throat welcomes new audiologist

Olmstead

Southwestern Colorado Ear, Nose and Throat has welcomed Dr. Meredith Olmstead to its hearing healthcare team.

Olmstead received her doctorate of audiology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed her externship at Arkansas Otolaryngology Clinic in Little Rock, where her experience included diagnostic evaluation and treatment of hearing and balance disorders.

Olmstead is a Fellow with the American Academy of Audiology. She came to Durango with her husband, four children and two dogs from Ormond Beach, Florida, where she was the director of audiology at a private practice and specialized in the treatment of hearing loss and tinnitus.

Olmstead became an audiologist to improve patients’ overall cognitive health and ability to communicate with loved ones and is passionate about improving patients’ lives. She looks forward to becoming part of the Durango community and joining the Southwestern Colorado Ear, Nose and Throat team.
