The Southwestern Water Conservation District will host its annual water seminar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 1 at the DoubleTree Hotel, 501 Camino del Rio.
The seminar will bring together people who are passionate about water resources to hear expert speakers from around the state and region.
The event will include SWCD’s new executive director, Frank Kugel, and speakers such as KKTV meteorologist Brian Bledsoe, Colorado Water Conservation Board Director Becky Mitchell and Colorado River District General Manager Andy Mueller.
Cost is $45 in advance or $50 at the door. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Registration includes catered breakfast and lunch.
