Injuries

South Carolina quarterback Connor Shaw sprained his right shoulder in a 28-25 win over UCF, but coach Steve Spurrier is hopeful he’ll be able to return within two weeks.

Shaw left the game during the Gamecocks’ opening series after he landed awkwardly on his shoulder during a run with 6:34 left in the first quarter.
