SAN ANTONIO – Brendan Steele completed an 8-under 64 in the morning and shot a 70 in the second round Friday to take a three-stroke lead in the Texas Open.
The winner five years ago at TPC San Antonio for his lone tour title, Steele had a 10-under 134 total. Play was suspended because of darkness with 13 players left on the course.
Scott Langley, Stuart Appleby and Charley Hoffman were tied for second. Langley shot a 68,
Applebyhad a 70, and Hoffmana 71. Patrick Reed was in the group at 6 under after a 73.
Defending champion Jimmy Walker missed the cut with rounds of 75 and 77. Phil Mickelson also dropped out, shooting 77-71.
SHENZHEN, China – Lee Soo-min shot a 7-under 65 Friday to take a three-stroke lead on the rain-interrupted second day of Shenzhen International.
Lee, who is playing in his sixth European Tour event, recorded seven birdies to get 13-under 131. Joost Luiten (66) was in second place as nearly six hours of play was lost over two separate rain stoppages. Thirty-five players were unable to start their second rounds.
DALY CITY, Calif. – Haru Nomura shot a 2-under 70 on Friday at Lake Merced to take the second-round lead in the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic.
The 23-year-old Japanese player had a 9-under 135 total for a three-stroke lead over South Koreans So Yeon Ryu and Na Yeon Choi and Australia’s Minjee Lee.

DENVER – Brandon Barnes hit a tie-breaking two-run triple in the eighth inning, lifting the Colorado Rockies past the Los Angeles Dodgers 7-5 on Friday night.
Nolan Arenado and Ryan Raburn homered for the Rockies, who have won their last four games against the Dodgers.
Trailing 5-4, the Rockies evened the score on D.J. LeMahieu’s sacrifice fly in the seventh. Arenado drew a one-out walk in the eighth off Chris Hatcher (2-2) and Mark Reynolds singled up the middle. One out later, Barnes, who entered in the eighth as a defensive replacement for Raburn, tripled off the wall in right-centerfield to drive in his first runs of the season.
Jake McGee got three outs for his fourth save in as many opportunities.

HOUSTON – Stephen Curry says he’ll be very surprised if his sprained right ankle keeps him out in Game 4 of the Golden State Warriors’ first-round playoff series against the Houston Rockets on Sunday.
Curry was injured in the series opener and missed the last two games. Golden State won the first one without him, but Houston took Game 3 on Thursday night to cut the series deficit to 2-1.

WASHINGTON – Josh Norman’s agent says the cornerback has agreed to terms on a contract with the Washington Redskins on Friday.
Agent Michael George confirmed the deal in an email to The Associated Press.
Norman, one of the NFL’s top corners, became a free agent Wednesday after the Carolina Panthers rescinded the franchise tag, which would have paid him $13.9 million next season. The 28-year-old was holding out for a long-term contract.
