The San Juan Square Dance Club of Durango will hold its first free class from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Durango/La Plata Senior Center, 2424 Main Ave.
The class is open to those 10 and older and encourages fun physical activity and mental stimulation. Dancers will learn five new calls a week from Richard Berry, a caller with more than 35 years of experience.
Classes in January and February are free. Cost for classes after February is $3.50.
