Registration is now open for the Stan the Marathon Man walk/run, to be held Sept. 9 at Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.
The event will be presented by Athletes to End Alzheimer’s Durango, and will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association of Durango and the Fort Lewis College Foundation ATEA scholarship.
The event will feature a 5K walk/run on the Animas River Trail, 10K “Rough and Rugged” run, a kids fun run with live music, mini sports expo, living assistance expo and silent auction.
