Bundle up for the Starry Night Snowshoe Tour to Andrews Lake. San Juan Mountains Association presents this free event in partnership with San Juan National Forest from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Feb. 3.
Explore ancient Greek and Native American constellations. There will also be night time games that play tricks on eyes. Bring lots of warm clothing, warm boots, hot drinks, binoculars and a headlamp with a red lens. Snowshoes will be needed.
Kids’ and small adult snowshoes are available for free upon request. Suitable for ages 8-and-up. Kids carried in packs are allowed. Location is subject to change if the roads are bad.
