San Juan Mountains Association and San Juan National Forest will hold a “starry night” snowshoe tour to Andrews Lake from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27
The event is free and open to the public for ages seven and up.
Participants will explore ancient Greek and Native American constellations and enjoy nighttime games, are expected to arrive prepared with warm clothing and boots, and are encouraged to bring hot drinks, binoculars and a flashlight with a red lens.
Snowshoes are required for the tour, and will be available upon request if needed.
