The family of Harold and Marian Steinhoff will host parties to celebrate the couple’s anniversary on Jan. 19 and Harold Steinhoff’s 100th birthday on March 9.

Harold Steinhoff became the Colorado State University regional coordinator in Durango starting in 1974. Before that, he was a professor of wildlife biology at the university for 27 years.
The Steinhoffs were longtime residents of Durango from 1974 through 2008 and volunteered at the community food bank and were very active at Christ the King Lutheran Church. They now live in Windsor .
