STEM camp to be held in Durango

Camp Invention, a nationally-recognized, nonprofit summer enrichment camp, will be held June 18-22 at Riverview Elementary School, 2900 Mesa Ave.

The program is for kindergarten through sixth-grade students and promotes science, technology, engineering and mathematics to build resourcefulness and problem-solving skills and encourage entrepreneurship.

Activities include: “Optibot” robot building, a “robotic pet vet” lab, a futuristic smart home design project and new inventions each day for students.
