Sticking to Senior Day

Durango High School is shooting for the state playoffs after a program-record for wins, but the Demons have one game to focus on before thinking about the postseason. In the regular-season finale, senior day at DHS, the Demons (9-4, 5-3 Mountain League) will host Fruita Monument (4-8, 3-6 ML) at 4 p.m. Friday. Winners of four of their last five games, junior Trevor Gabbard and the Demons have been led by the solid play of senior goalkeeper Walker Brown as well as the attack of seniors Jacob Boyle, Jared Cook, Wesley Komick and Duncan Whitley.
