If, for some reason, you signed the recall petition against Gwen Lachelt without fully understanding either the original accusations or the complete vindication of them, please be aware that you can remove your name from the petition.
Contact the La Plata County Clerk’s office directly at 259-5413 and they will let you know how to do so before March 30.
Likewise, if you fear – as many do – that their names have been added to this petition without permission, call the clerk to check.
