Stillwater Music will host the ninth annual Party in the Park from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at Buckley Park, 1200 Main Ave.
More than 90 students from Stillwater Music and Durango Arts Center will perform music on the big stage. Music will range from pop, rock and funk to blues, jazz and musical theater classics.
This family-oriented day in the park will also feature many local organizations hosting booths that showcase all of their summer and year-round programs for children. There will be hands-on activities for kids and food from Bloom Cafe and The Purple Ice Cream Truck.
This free event is sponsored by First Southwest Bank, Durango Friends of the Arts and Conundrum Escape Rooms.
