Contemporary quilter, author and instructor Jean Wells of Sisters, Oregon, will be in Durango from Thursday to Saturday for a series of events sponsored by STITCH quilt and sewing boutique.
Although two workshops are sold out, spaces are still available for a special dinner and lecture, taking place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday.
Discover a world of color and pattern as Wells explains the development of ideas gleaned from her photography, translating imagery into abstract quilts.
