Stop trying to scare me with socialism

This election cycle I have received only a small amount of political hate mail. There’s one exception: Today I received my fourth copy of the same expensive glossy flier stating that Diane Mitsch Bush is an extremist. “Socialism = Government run healthcare.”

At first I ignored it as a ploy by some anonymous PAC funded by the health insurance and medical industry fat cats. Then I noticed the return address: VoteTipton.com. These hate fliers are from Tipton’s official campaign headquarters in Cortez!

I have not received a single communication from Mr. Tipton about the issues. No plan to make the U.S. a better place. No solutions to problems. Certainly no ideas to improve our overpriced, underperforming healthcare system.

You just lost my vote, Mr. Tipton.

By the way, you should look up the definition of socialism. You look kind of stupid to those of us with a dictionary.

Diane Mitsch Bush has a proven history of working across the aisle in the Colorado Legislature to pass legislation that works for everyone. That’s not what extremists do. She does not accept campaign money from corporate PACs, and no fossil fuel money. How about you, Mr. Tipton?
