In regard to the Herald’s June 2 story about the impressive run of former Durango High School graduates who became Fulbright scholars, one of the most recent additions to that list is Samantha Freitag, class of 2009.
Sam graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a degree in international relations.
As an East Asia specialist, Sam will be spending her Fulbright year as an English teaching assistant in Taiwan, working to further U.S.-Taiwan relations.
