Story of Martin del Campo is real news

The story of Paola Lerma Martin del Campo told on the front page of the Herald (“

The young lady, with the help and inspiration provided by a Durango educator, has turned in her track and seems to be happily ascending what is a long hard trail to become an M.D.

The trail ain’t easy, but her story as outlined suggests she does indeed have the guts and the compassion to succeed.

And what also floated my boat about the story was the column inches it was given by the Herald.

Lefty or righty, all of us can read this story and feel good.

This is the kind of story that should constitute the news, and not the rubbish pushed by those moronic, whorish talking heads on both sides of the political divide.

If only America could agree that these kinds of stories are the real news and murder, mayhem, corruption, and foolery are worth briefs and nothing more.
