Strater’s head of catering to speak

Emily Spencer, director of catering at Strater Hotel will speak at the Lunches with Leaders series presented by the Young Professionals of Durango.

The speech and networking event will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Aug. 13 at the Ore House. Registration is from 11:30 a.m. to noon.

All local professionals ages 21 to 40 are invited. The cost is $10 for YPOD members and $15 for nonmembers..

Spencer joined the Strater Hotel’s sales and catering team in 2005. Before joining the Strater, Spencer was regional director for catering for Bristol Hotels and Resorts in Dallas.
