The bridge across the Animas River on 32nd Street will be closed to all foot and vehicle traffic on April 12 and possibly April 13 while a pedestrian bridge is lifted into place by a crane.
Vehicle traffic heading south will be detoured to Florida Road. Vehicles heading north will be directed to County Road 250. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured down East Second Avenue behind City Market, or East Third Avenue to Rank Bridge behind Durango High School.
Use and access of the river in the vicinity of the project will be restricted during the installation of the bridge.
