Music in the Mountains, in partnership with Katzin Music and Fort Lewis College, will hold Instrument Discovery Day for elementary school students Jan. 20 in Jones Hall at Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive.
Students will hear demonstrations by instructors, have an opportunity to try any instrument available and can take lessons for specific instruments.
Sessions will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon for kindergarten through third grade and from 1 to 4 p.m. for fourth and fifth grade.
Registration deadline is Jan. 18.
