Students with health challenges can be mentors

A peer mentoring meeting will be held at 11:50 a.m. Friday in the counseling office at Durango High School, 2390 Main Ave.

High school students with health conditions, such as epilepsy, diabetes, traumatic brain injury, asthma, paralysis or other chronic afflictions, are invited to attend to learn about becoming a mentor for younger students and helping with community education events.

Pizza will be provided for lunch. For more information, call 749-9607.
