Studio & Gallery, 1027 Main Ave., will host an opening reception for “UNKNOWN: A Juried Exhibit” from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday.
The gallery has teamed with juror Ilze Aviks for the juried exhibition, the gallery’s first in five years. It received more than 60 entries, and Aviks has selected 29 of those pieces to make up the show.
Cash prizes will be awarded for Best of Show, Second Place and honorable mentions, and will be announced at 6:30 p.m. during the opening reception. People’s Choice winner will be announced at the end of the exhibit as the public will be able to vote on their favorite throughout the duration of the exhibit.
This exhibit will be up through April 20.
