Police are searching for a man suspected of robbing the Subway sandwich shop Thursday night on Florida Road in northeast Durango.
The robbery occurred at 10:19 p.m. at 1537 Florida Road, near Bread bakery and Star Liquors.
A man entered the shop, asked for money and left the store, said Cmdr. Bob Brammer of the Durango Police Department. He wore a mask and gloves, and was armed with a handgun. It was unknown if he had a getaway vehicle.
“We have very limited information at this point because they were masked up,” he said. “We don’t have much of a suspect description at all.”
Police are aware of only one suspect, but it’s possible he had accomplices.
