As part of the Four Corners Lecture Series, the Hisatsinom Chapter of the Colorado Archaeology Society will hold a presentation, “The Northern Chaco Outliers Project” by Susan Ryan, at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 6, at the Sunflower Theater, 8 E. Main St., Cortez.
The presentation will be about the new multi-year project started by archaeologists from Crow Canyon Archaeological Center that focuses on the Haynie site, an ancestral Puebloan village just northeast of Cortez.
