We live, work, vote and pay taxes in Colorado. Denver has five television stations. However Spectrum, Dish and Direct will only offer two Denver stations each. This is because of an outdated, unfair policy that we get New Mexico stations. New Mexico does not cover Colorado news.
I corresponded with the Federal Communications Commission that said it has no control. Only the three providers decide what to give us. I had called Clyde Church on this issue with no response. Then I called Jack Turner who answered and was on this immediately.
Jack corresponded with me and the FCC, asking challenging questions as to why. I am sure if he is elected, he will be influencing Spectrum to carry all Denver stations. As thorough, knowledgeable and responsive as Jack was on this issue, I have confidence he won't ignore it and will act on our behalf. I am supporting Jack Turner for county commissioner.
